At Pinewood Dentistry, your first visit should fit the reason you are calling. We have three paths
New patients can begin with a $99 Comprehensive Dental Evaluation*, including a comprehensive exam, necessary X-rays, photographs, and a 3D digital scan. Hygiene is scheduled separately after we evaluate your gum health.
We also offer complimentary Adult Airway & MARPE Consultations, complimentary implant consultations, and complimentary Pediatric Airway & Growth Consultations for children ages 3–14. No previous sleep diagnosis is required to begin the conversation.
New Patients with a dental emergency can come in for a $99 Emergency Evaluation which includes xrays, 3D scans of your teeth, a comprehensive exam with the doctor, and a treatment plan.
*New patients only. The $99 Comprehensive Dental Evaluation, or Emergency Examination does not include hygiene and is not valid for use with insurance or other offers. Complimentary airway consultations are intended for qualified concerns involving breathing, sleep, the bite, crowding, jaw development, or expansion. Diagnostic testing and treatment are separate.

If your doctor recommends additional care, we will explain the options, review any associated costs, and receive your approval before moving forward. The $99 Comprehensive or Limited Dental Evaluation does not include hygiene, which is scheduled separately after your gum health has been evaluated. For airway consultations, any recommended diagnostic testing or treatment is also separate and will be reviewed with you before proceeding.
After reviewing the findings with you, your doctor will create a personalized plan based on your needs and goals. That may be as simple as scheduling the appropriate wellness visit or monitoring an area over time, or it may include restorative, orthodontic, airway, or surgical care. We will explain what needs attention now, what may be coming next, and the options available before moving forward.
Yes, we accept MOST major dental PPO insurance plans that allow assignment of benefits. We can not quote insurance eligibility over the phone, but can do a complimentary benefit analysis within 48 hours to determine your specific eligibility. We have an in-house membership plan for patients that cannot be combined with insurance, but is a great option for patients without insurance or patients who are under-insured. We also offer convenient financing options to make dental care as accessible as possible!
We require a 48 hour cancellation notice. We understand that life happens – so give us a call more than 48 hours before your appointment time if something comes up! Per our office policies, no-show or cancellations within 48 hours are charged a $75 fee per hour of appointment time in order for us to maximize scheduling and dedicate time to all of our patients.
