Dr. Urvi Ruparelia is a general and cosmetic dentist that enjoys the ability to impact someone’s life, whether it be through a smile transformation or positive dental experiences. She loves that dentistry provides the opportunity to create lifelong relationships with patients.

Dr. Urvi grew up just outside Atlanta, GA and received a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Her interest in dentistry was sparked by her own experiences in the dental chair during college where she found that her passions in artistry, medicine, and service could combine. She went on to obtain her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and graduated in the top of her class. Dr. Urvi was an active participant in dental research and her research experiences have instilled a deep appreciation for the fact that oral health plays an integral and interactive role in systemic health. She believes in empowering patients to improve not only their oral health, but their overall health and quality of life.

Upon completion of her dental degree, Dr. Urvi completed advanced postgraduate training at the University of Washington General Practice Residency program, where she provided care to various patient populations of all ages, including medically-compromised and special needs patients. She then went on to further develop her skills while working in private practice in Washington for many years before moving back to Georgia. Once she returned to the Atlanta area, she expanded her skillset to cosmetic procedures including Invisalign, bonding, veneers, and injectables such as Botox. She is also trained in moderate conscious IV sedation and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).

Dr. Urvi is honored to be a part of the team at Pinewood Dentistry. She enjoys all different aspects of dentistry and is passionate about providing comprehensive dental care in a comfortable and safe environment. She looks forward to guiding patients on reaching their optimum oral health with individualized plans that are tailored to their specific desires and needs. She strives to put her patients at ease in the dental chair and develop lasting relationships through compassion, kindness, and honesty.

In her free time, Dr. Urvi enjoys being outdoors, hiking, rock climbing, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. At home, she spends time with her husband, infant daughter, and senior Shih Tzu dog. Together they enjoy spending time at restaurants and parks in the Roswell/Alpharetta area.
